FREQUENTLY  ASKED  QUESTIONS

CANCER

1. What is cancer ?

Cancer is a rouge cell gone crazy & cannot be controlled by the body at that point in time. If body continues to fail controlling it’s growth then it can take over.

Different theories abound.

  • Some say pH is what matters. If we can maintain the body ph higher towards alkaline side, then we will stay healthy & few diseases will be able to break through our immune system.

  • Related to pH is the oxygenation theory. They believe that we are not breathing well & a good oxygen supply to all the tissues will prevent any major disease from taking hold. Oxygen also relates to pH control. Hence the link.

  • Some believe total stress of the body leads to poor immune system protection & thus leads to cancer & other diseases. Here we are talking about stress in a combination of ways –physical, mental, emotional & spiritual. Different people react to different stresses negatively. When that happens, the body starts to develop reduced immune responses & thus disease attacks the body.

  • Some believe it is the genetic make-up of the body which brings about change under the right circumstances where the body begins to become prone to disease causing organisms. This then leads to cancer.

  • Some believe it’s environmental factors that play a part in shaping the body responses & thus leading to cancer.

2. Why are we scared of Cancer ?

We appear to have a set idea of fear about the magic "C" word. When that is mentioned we tend to become paralysed in thoughts, words & deeds & our body tends to shrivel up with fear. We must accept it like any other diagnosis & treat it like a guest who needs to be driven out of the body. The course may not be easy --but neither is it impossible. We must be confident of our body's ability & it has proven time & again in everyone's life (if we care to look back at our life)  that  "Nothing is Impossible". We always live in HOPE & we must never forget that. So we can continue to live positively in hope doing all the right things we know today & live positively till the day we  die - which is the only real truth of life. When, where & how death is going to welcome us we do not know. But till then let us pledge to be positive till the end - smiling, thinking good thoughts & always helping others, without a single negative thought or fear of anything in this world.

3. Is cancer curable ?

All diseases are curable if they have not crossed the point of no return. So we must be positive & try to assist the body with all strategies to enhance the immunity of the body. This in turn will bring positivity to the body energies & drive away all ill health around you. A positive attitude is one of most important things to start with. So a clear positive thinking mind with no negative thoughts & good wishes towards yourself & all around you will assist in enhancing your body energies & develop better immunity with all your other parameters added - like breathing, yog, shivambu, fasting, diet, exercise, sunshine, herbs, etc.

4. Why do some people get cancer while others do not ?

We all have cancer cells in our body. But they are in very small numbers. These numbers are curtailed by our body’s immune system. There is a constant battle between our immune system & the few cancer cells. This battle is going on 24/7, seven days a week, 52 weeks/year non-stop.  Our immune system wins most of the time. Hence we do not all get cancer. For those unfortunate people who develop  a  poor immune system over time due to stress, exhaustion, overwork, fatigue, poor lifestyle, etc to list a few of the things that account for our immune system’s strengths – they may lose the battle one day . when that happens, the cancer cells become dominant & try to rule the roost. If our body cannot curtail that we develop cancer.

5. Why do some people recover from cancer while others succumb to it ?

My natural therapy belief is that when we are diagnosed with cancer &  with whatever treatment at our disposal; we are able to overcome the battle against cancer cells & develop good immunity of the body –then our body comes back to normal with the immune system looking after your health & keeping cancer cells at bay. Failure to do so, means succumbing to the cancer –either as suffering or increase of cancer cells.

6. What treatment options should I consider for cancer ?

A whole range of treatment options are available –

  • Allopathic treatment which mainly involves chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery & medication as required. This treatment can give quick results. But the intense treatment & effects of medication can leave side effects that the body requires to handle. It also makes the body weak & can influence the immune system negatively for some time.

  • Natural therapies are slow acting & generally have nearly no side effects. This treatment protocol involves a lot of commitment on part of the patient. Patient may be required to do lots of things sometimes amounting to 4-7 hours of work every day for a few months at least.
