Shivambu - (today referred to as Urine therapy or Auto Urine Therapy)

 

 This is a traditional Indian ancient remedy which has fallen by the wayside for years.

The oldest literature & only exhaustive literature is the Shivambu Kalpa Vidhi which is a chapter in The Damar Tantra completely devoted to shivambu knowledge, prescription, effects & philosophy to follow. The text goes into great detail about using different vessels, different herbs & combinations, their effects over time & last but not the least it states - to be kept a secret. This dialogue between Lord Shiva & Devi Parvati is so ancient that there has to be no doubt that this has to be the original literature on the subject. To provide so many details, meant that the subject was well studied before the slokas were written.

 

Shivambu in the modern era is referred to as urine therapy. The potential of this pathy is very immense. From just drinking your own urine, one can become quite good in health. It can improve one's immunity such that common diseases do not affect the body.

Some magical results have been demonstrated in cancer cases recovering miraculously. Some kidney stone, asthama, & kidney failure cases have also benefitted. It has been found to be helpful for arthritics too.

 

Shivambu has its own regime consisting of drinking urine, applying aged urine to the body, healing wounds, improving eyesight, rejuvenating one's body, etc. There are also special prescriptions for collecting urine in specific utensils made of gold, silver, copper, steel, glass, wood, bamboo, bone, banana leaf, etc. Obviously, each of those utensils had therapeutic properties which would address certain disease states, positively. In addition there are prescribed herbal mixtures to be used which can provide specific therapeutic benefit to the body.
